The camera isn’t counting my reps
- Lay the phone on the floor, propped at a slight angle, so it can see your head, shoulders and arms in frame.
- Make sure the room is reasonably lit and you’re a couple of feet from the phone.
- Start with one slow, full-depth rep so you can see the counter respond before you commit to a set. There is nothing to calibrate — the depth it looks for is fixed, not learned from you.
- Pushups. Only full-range reps count: a rep has to reach depth and finish on the way up. Shallow reps, and positions too upright to read as a plank, are ignored. Speed never stops a pushup counting — a smooth tempo just earns a bonus.
- Squats are judged differently. Make sure your legs are in frame, not just your upper body — squats are measured from your knee angle. A rep has to reach roughly parallel or deeper; a quarter squat will not register. Unlike pushups, three things here will stop a squat counting: going too fast (reps need about six-tenths of a second between them), holding at the bottom for more than about five seconds, and moving your feet mid-rep — the last one is deliberate, so walking back to your spot never adds a phantom rep.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. All pose detection runs on your device, in memory, only during a battle. No video, image, or pose data is ever recorded or sent anywhere. See the privacy policy.
How do I back up or move my progress?
Sign in (Apple, Google, or email) and your progress syncs to your account automatically — sign in on a new device to restore it. Guests are backed up too via an anonymous account; sign in later to attach a name and keep your progress.
How do I add a friend?
Open Hall → Summon a friend, share your friend code, and enter theirs. Friendships are mutual and appear on your weekly leaderboard.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Delete account in the app. That removes your profile, cloud save, leaderboard entries and friend connections from our servers. A few records survive by necessity — see the deletion page for the full list. Uninstalling the app removes the local copy on your device. Full instructions — including how to request deletion by email if you can’t open the app — are on the delete your account page.
